What Could a Better Website Be Worth to Your Business?
Estimate how improvements in website traffic and lead conversion could affect your revenue.
Your numbers
Industry values are example starting points, not verified averages. Replace them with your own.
| Scenario | Traffic +% | Conversion +% | Extra / mo | Return |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Conservative | $954 | 218% | ||
| Moderate | $2,475 | 725% | ||
| Optimistic | $5,040 | 1580% |
How these numbers are calculated
- Leads = visitors × visitor-to-lead rate. Customers = leads × close rate. Revenue = customers × average customer value.
- Projected visitors = current visitors × (1 + traffic increase). Projected conversion = current rate × (1 + conversion increase), capped at 100%.
- Additional revenue = projected revenue − current revenue. Revenue-based return = (additional monthly revenue − monthly investment) ÷ monthly investment.
- Payback = one-time build cost ÷ (additional monthly revenue − monthly investment).
- This is revenue, not profit. Profit figures only appear when you enter a margin. Scenario increases are editable examples, not promises.
Where better design and SEO fit in
Design improvements mainly affect how many visitors become leads. SEO mainly affects how many people find you in search. These bars use your numbers plus the example assumptions below.
Illustrations only. Results vary by market, competition and follow-up; no traffic, ranking or revenue increase is guaranteed.

About this calculator
Is this a guarantee?
No. It's an estimate based on the numbers and assumptions you enter. Real results depend on your market, offer, competition and follow-up.
Are the industry numbers real averages?
No. They're example starting values so the calculator isn't blank. Replace them with your own numbers for a useful estimate.
Why revenue and not profit?
Revenue is what customers pay you. Profit is what's left after costs. Unless you enter a profit margin, the calculator only shows a revenue-based return and never calls it profit.
What if I don't have a website?
Your current website visitors are zero, so the projection uses a hypothetical visitor count you choose. It's labeled as hypothetical everywhere it's used.
